Get to Know Erika
My wine story began in a town outside of South Bend, Indiana with me missing a friend's caramel apple and wine-tasting party to benefit the local children's museum. I was so busy, that I had forgotten to put it on my calendar! I wanted to support her, so I asked her for more info about the wine and museum. Honestly, I was very intrigued.
At that time, I had recently decided to take a break from teaching 1st grade to be at home and raise my 3 kids. I loved being home with my kids but felt like I was losing myself, so I became a serial volunteer in my community. I was the PTO President at my kids' school and volunteered at our local food pantry as well as many other organizations. I thought the idea of a wine that also gave back, was just too good to be true.
I decided that I wanted to find out more, after having my own wine tasting (which was one of the most fun nights of my adult life!), I was curious about the business. The wine was amazing, didn't make me feel yucky the next day, and allowed me to give back to all of the causes I loved.
New Year's Eve 2020 I decided that some extra cash would be nice, and I could definitely use more fun in my life, so I joined OneHope as a Cause Entrepreneur. I was unsure but figured that if I regretted it, I would just drink the wine that came in my join kit, and move on. Little did I know how much that decision would change my life, and Purposeful Pours Wine was born.

I am happy to say, that I haven't looked back since! In the last 4 years, I have been able to become a YES mom to my kids' activities, enjoy the balance of work & family life by working from home, enjoy trips to Napa with my husband, family vacations to Disney, saved for a new family car, and continue to lean into the endless income potential that this opportunity provides. I won't say that it's always easy, it takes work and consistency, but if you plug in and utilize the program, it will change your life!
I'm now a leader within the company, with over 100+ wine friends and business partners all across the US that I help train & mentor. I love helping others reach their goals and I'm dedicated to helping those that are driven towards success and personal development to reach their potential!
